What are your beliefs about your profession?

It is one of, if not THE best profession out there to grow your career in – it has allowed me to live the lifestyle that I want, while being professionally rewarding and fulfilling at the same time. And I get to meet new people and make new connections all the time, which I love!

What particular client personality or circumstance are you most drawn to? (Who are you best at helping / who do you most like to help?)

I love helping clients that I can find a personal connection with – which usually isn’t hard when I mention I love golf, boating, breweries, bourbon, and Pittsburgh – one of those is usually a connection with someone. From there, the conversations come easy and I’m better able to do my job comfortably with those clients. Otherwise, I love working with younger, financially proactive individuals because I can relate, but also enjoy learning, hearing stories, and getting to know all of my clients.

Is there anything in your life personally that has helped motivate you to improve the financial situation of yourself, your clients, or your community?

My humbling upbringing has certainly motivated me personally to make sure I plan for a secure financial future for myself and my family – a granddaughter of an entrepreneur, I watched my grandfather pour his heart and soul into his business up until the day he sold the business and retired. I then watched him pass away two years later and realized he never truly got to take vacations and live the “retired golfing everyday life” that he always dreamed of. This has inspired me, not only personally to save for myself and to enjoy life as I go, but also to pursue my passion of helping others to be able to live out their dreams as well and make sure they are able to financially do so with peace of mind.
