Chief Compliance Officer, Senior Client Services Associate

Zach Carver

What are your client service superpowers?

Client service is not just a job to me. I care about your families, about your passions. I often think of my clients when I’m not working, grieving when they grieve and celebrating when they celebrate, even including them in my prayers.

What are your beliefs about your profession?

How you make someone feel can be as important as what you actually do for them. Managing client portfolios is very important, and so is the level of service clients receive. I want clients to rest easy knowing Cook Wealth is with them. We know them, and we are here to help them move toward their goals.

What’s the most fun part of your job?

I enjoy taking care of as much as possible for each client, so that they don’t have to. I don’t want our clients to ever stress about anything.

Do you work with a special market or are you drawn to one?

Because I’m a mom and grandmom myself, I especially enjoy working with other families. I empathize with both the homeschooling mom and the empty nester. I love when clients share photos and tell us news about their milestones, children, and grandchildren. It is so much fun to be a part of their lives.

Is there anything in your life personally that has helped motivate you to improve the financial situation of yourself and your clients?

I’ve seen budgeting, saving, and investing really work!  Even in those “lean” years with three kids, our family always saved a little because of setting a budget (and sticking to it) and living within our means.  My sons are on their way with savings now too, and my three little grandbabies have 529 accounts for future education someday.
